To get the best performance from your copy of Market Analyst we recommend that you use it with hardware meeting the following minimal specifications.

We understand that not everyone will use Market Analyst in the same way, so to help you decide on what hardware to use with your copy of Market Analyst we have created hardware requirements based on feature use. Below are the three usage categories, in no way do they encompass all the functionality of Market Analyst but they do cover the core features.

Basic Use

Basic use of Market Analyst entails the following,

• Use of basic charts styles e.g. Bar, Candle Stick and Line
• End of Day Data only (No live charts)
• Less than 20 indicators/tools on each page
• Basic scanning of a single exchange at one time
• Single monitor

Recommended minimum hardware for basic use

• CPU: Intel Pentium 4 1.80Ghz or AMD equivelent
• System Memory(RAM): 512MB (1GB if using Vista/Windows7)
• Hard Drive Space: 50MB - 1GB (Depending on exchange data used)
• Video Card: Nvidia video card with 128MB dedicated video memory (ATI video cards will work, up to date video card drivers are required)
• CD-ROM: Minimum 8x speed
• Monitor: LCD/CRT capable of displaying at 1024 x 768 (Wide screen LCD monitors are highly recommended)
• Internet Connection: Dialup 56K

Standard Use

Standard use of Market Analyst entails the following,

• Use of all the chart styles - (Excluding 3D Charts)
• Use of Gann charts - e.g. Square of 9, Wheel of 24, Hexagon Chart
  
• Live and End of Day Data (30 Days or less of Live Data / Page)
• Multiple charts per page
  
• Less than 50 indicators/tools on each page
• Scanning of a single exchange with multiple criteria

• System Memory(RAM): 1GB (2GB if using Vista/Windows7)
• Hard Drive Space: 50MB - 1GB (Depending on exchange data used)
• Video Card: Nvidia video card with 256MB dedicated video memory (ATI video cards will work, up to date video card drivers are required)
