It has been reported by some users of Market Analyst an issue where bar charts are light, fuzzy and hard to read on some systems.  Testing of this issue has found the cause of the problem is a combination of Windows Vista / Windows 7, and old video drivers.

The Renko (or Brick) Chart was developed by the Japanese.  Similar to a Point and Figure Chart, this style only highlights price movements (not time and volume). A Renko chart is created by placing a "brick" in the next column once the price surpasses the top or bottom of the previous brick by a user defined amount.

Bar Charts are by far the most popular way of examining the market, and most commonly used with the tools and indicators in Market Analyst to analyse market movements.

Gann Swing Chart, as proposed by W.D. Gann, provide an excellent way to examine the trends of the markets.

Line Charts are simply a line joining a selected value of each bar. This style of chart is a simple way to remove the "clutter" from the market.
